CUSTOMIZATION FAQs

  • Yes! The majority of what we do is custom work. Pretty much any of our items can be customized and we have individual listings for each size/type of item.

If you don’t see exactly what you’re looking for, or want to discuss an idua you have for a custom item, just reach out! We love working with customers to design miniatures based on the things they love.

  • Custom means that you get to tell us exactly what books you’d like included on your shelf, down to the specific cover/edition. As long as we can find an image online or you’re able to send us a picture of the book’s cover, we can make it in miniature.

For our miniature bookshelves, in addition to letting us know the exact books you want, you’ll be able to choose from a selection of paint colors and wallpaper backgrounds, as well as a variety of trinkets that will be placed among the books to make your shelf wholly unique.

  • Once you’ve placed an order, you will receive an email confirmation/receipt that includes links to our customization forms. Pick the form that corresponds with the item you ordered, take as much time as you need to fill it out, and submit!

If we don’t hear from you or have any questions once your form is submitted, we’ll reach out via email.

  • The tiny shelf holds 5 front-facing books, the square shelf holds up to 10 front-facing books, and the little box library can hold up to 20 front-facing books.

We automatically include a few spine-showing books based on the titles/authors you provide, but if you’d like to customize the spine-showing books as well, that’s available as an add-on for your order.

  • Yes! Any of our shelves can be customized to include all Minibills instead of books or a mix of both.

  • Our jars come in sizes that hold 6, 14, 24, or 36 miniature books/Minibills.

For book jars, you get to tell us exactly what books you’d like to include. For Minibill jars, you get to choose your selection from our catalogue of over 100 Broadway shows. Custom Minibills (anything not already in our catalogue, plays, off-Broadway, or even regional productions) can be added to your jar for an additional fee.

  • Pretty much! As long as we can find the cover or you can provide a picture, we can make it in miniature.

Children’s books are sometimes the exception — we’re happy to include them on bookshelves as front-facing, but due to their often irregular shape/size, we are not able to include them as spine-showing or in book jars.

While we always try our very best, we also cannot guarantee that the book spines will look exactly like the real thing.

SHIPPING FAQs

  • Yes! We ship worldwide.

Our website’s default checkout setting is ‘free domestic shipping’ but once you input an international address, it will automatically switch and calculate your shipping cost based on your exact location.

Please note, some countries may charge an additional fee (VAT) upon arrival.

  • The following are our estimated production times:

    • Custom shelves – 6 to 12 weeks

    • Catalog shelves – 6 to 8 weeks

    • Custom book/Minibill jars – 2 to 4 weeks

These times are based on when your order was placed or when your customization form was received.

For orders that include both a custom item and a catalogue item, the estimated production time is based on the custom item since all will ship together.

All of our items are 100% handmade and we sincerely appreciate your patience and support of our small business!

  • All orders are shipped via USPS Ground Advantage with tracking.

Any priority shipping must be requested and paid for separately.

  • Yes, if your item is still in process and has not shipped yet, we are able to change the shipping address. Please email us if you need to make any changes or updates.

GENERAL FAQs

  • We sincerely apologize if anything on your shelf comes unglued in transit — we try our best to make sure everything is secure, but the postal service can be rough on packages sometimes.

For trinkets that come loose, any kind of clear permanent glue should work. We use Aleene’s Clear Gel Tacky Glue. For front-facing books, we recommend Gorilla Super Glue (or something similar that is clear and fast drying).

If you’d like more tips, guidance, or reference photos to re-glue specific items, please don’t hesitate to reach out!

  • Not yet, but maybe one day!

We do participate in local craft markets and book festivals all across the country. You can check our Home page for a list of upcoming events.
